Why convert text to a chart?
Numbers buried in paragraphs are hard to compare and easy to misread. The moment the same numbers become a bar chart, the ranking, the gaps and the trend jump out. That's why every report, deck and post worth reading leads with a chart — and why "text to chart" is the fastest way to get there: you already have the text.
What text formats work
- Key: value lines — Monday: 320, works with colons or dashes.
- Comma lists — Coffee, 4.50 (also tab or semicolon separated, straight from spreadsheets).
- Bullets and numbered lists — markers like -, *, 1) are stripped.
- Currency and percentages — $1,200, 45%, €3.5 are parsed cleanly.
Editable before export
Everything the parser finds lands in an editable table — rename a messy label, correct a number, and the chart redraws instantly. When it looks right, download a 2× PNG.
